SPPU slips 34 places in QS Asia University Rankings 2026; also saw steep fall in NIRF 2025 from 37th to 91st place
The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has slipped 34 places to rank 207th in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026, compared to its 173rd position in 2025. The university secured an overall score of 50.6. It scored 64.2 in the Faculty-Student Ratio and 87.2 in the Staff With PhD parameter. In Papers Per Faculty, SPPU scored 99.9, while its Academic Reputation stood at 40.3.
