Focus on games not promotion talk ‘noise’, says Mariners boss

SOUTH Shields manager Ian Watson has called for focus as his side look to boost their bid for promotion with a home win against Peterborough Sports.

The Mariners are currently two points clear at the top of the table after a Will Jenkins brace and Lemar Gordon's first goal for the club helped their side to a 3-0 win at Worksop Town in midweek.
AFC Fylde remain the Mariners’ nearest challengers for the title, and romped to a 5-1 home win against Macclesfield on Tuesday.
