THE British husband and wife killed in a Italian cable car tragedy have been described as "lovely people" who enjoyed riding motorbikes and exploring the world together.
Graeme and Elaine Winn died in the disaster on Mount Faito, near Naples, on Thursday, when their cable car suddenly plummeted to the ground.
One of their heartbroken neighbours yesterday said: "They were lovely, lovely people and it is very sad.
"They enjoyed going on holiday. They told me they were off to Italy for a week and were so excited."
Another added: "They were both into their motorbikes. Graeme was always tinkering around with them."
Friends said the couple got married around five years ago after moving to Market Harborough, Leics, from Essex.
