In a deeply spiritual gesture to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the 9th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Punjab Raj Bhavan organised a solemn and soul-enriching Shabad Kirtan yesterday evening.
This sacred event was held at Guru Nanak Dev Auditorium, drawing Sangat and dignitaries alike into a holy atmosphere of reverence, devotion, and spirituality. The divine Shabad Kirtan was performed by Padma Shri Hazuri Ragi Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji Srinagar Wale, a globally respected exponent of Gurbani Kirtan. His emotionally charged renditions, filled with spiritual resonance and devotion, brought to life the teachings and spirit of selfless service to society and sacrifice as exemplified by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
The atmosphere gravitated towards spiritual bliss and gratitude towards the Akalpurkh. Each note echoed the pain of sacrifice, the glory of martyrdom, the light of eternal truth, and the moral values that Guru Sahib stood for.
