- DAMON WILKINSON

'You will be loved forever'

FLOWERS have been left at the scene of a fatal stabbing as a murder probe continues.

Detectives are quizzing a 28-year-old man over the death of a woman in Droylsden on Friday.

The 58-year-old victim was found with stab wounds on Edge Lane just after noon and died around 45 minutes later. A huge manhunt was launched, with the suspect arrested on Friday night.

Police remain at the scene yesterday morning and part of Edge Lane is still cordoned off. A bunch of flowers has also been left close to where the stabbing took place.
