Eze does it as City summer target sees release clause expire

CITY transfer target Eberechi Eze’s release clause has reportedly expired – and a goalkeeper has been touted as Ederson’s long-term successor
It was confirmed that Eze’s release clause had expired at 5pm (GMT) on Friday evening. The England international has been linked with a move to City for much of the summer.
Julian Alvarez’s departure to Atletico Madrid has opened the door for a new signing in attacking quarters, with Eze’s technical ability and Premier League experience providing the perfect blend to fit into Pep Guardiola’s side ahead of the new campaign.
The former QPR man registered 15 goal involvements in 27 appearances last term, bagging 11 goals and four assists.
