The Shrimps head to a York City team which is unbeaten in its last seven league outings, taking 17 points from 21.
Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Rochdale lifted them into fifth, with only three points separating leaders Carlisle United and sixth-placed Scunthorpe United.
Morecambe’s focus is on the other end of the table, where they sit 23rd with only one point between the bottom five.
