SHAMROCK ROVERS teenager Max Kovalevskis is all but ruled out of the remainder of Ireland's Under-17 World Cup campaign.

The 17-year-old - who scored in the 4-1 win against Panama last week was withdrawn during the 2-1 win against Uzbekistan last Saturday after a clash of heads.

He must now follow concussion protocols and that means he will not be available for the remainder of the tournament, according to manager Colin O'Brien, inset.

However, he will remain with the squad for as long as they are in Qatar.
