BRIDLINGTON COASTGUARD RESCUE TEAM RESPONDED TO THE ALERTS

THREE people have been rescued in two separate incidents on the east coast, within the space of three days.
On Sunday, June 1, Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team (BCRT) responded to reports of a lone male in a small inflatable dinghy approximately one mile off the coast of Barmston.
The casualty was caught out by the strong offshore breeze and was unable to make it back to shore.
BCRT said in a post about the incident: “Given the offshore location and potential risk to life, the Bridlington RNLI Inshore Lifeboat (ILB) was requested and launched.
“The lifeboat crew were coned onto the vessel's location by Coastguard officers, where they swiftly recovered the casualty and brought the dinghy safely back to shore.
