Grewal finally gets his due with Dronacharya

Jaskirat Singh Grewal's name is synonymous with golfing success in Chandigarh. Popular as coach Jesse Grewal, the 64-year-old has been an unsung hero, nurturing aspiring pros for over three decades.
He finally won recognition after becoming the first golf coach to be chosen for the Dronacharya award.
Top Indian pro Shubhankar Sharma, Amandeep Drall, Yuvraj Sandhu, Karandeep Kochhar, Angad Cheema, Abhijit Chadha, woman golfer Irina Brar and budding players Nihaal Cheema and Ojaswani Sehrawat are all his trainees. For someone who has trained golfers for 33 years, the honour comes a bit late, but the coach is not complaining.
