Pub crossbow killer sent to mental facility

A MAN who walked into a pub with a crossbow and shot dead a stranger has been jailed for life.
Alfred Turner, 44, admitted killing Dave Peck last year.
As he left his home on the day of the killing he was seen by another man who asked him what he was holding, to which Turner replied: "It's a crossbow."
CCTV showed him entering the Lamb and Lion pub in Westcliff, Essex, from a door opposite the bar.
