Derelict hotel is hit by second blaze

DOZENS of firefighters were called to battle an extensive blaze at the derelict Narrowcliff Hotel in Newquay in the early hours of Sunday.

Danny Petre captured the Narrowcliff Hotel fire on Sunday morning on film
Crews from across the county were alerted after the fire was reported shortly after 3am.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: “Pumping appliances from Newquay, Perranporth, St Dennis, Tolvaddon and Mevagissey, are on scene along with the water carrier from Helston, and two aerial ladder platforms from Newquay and Truro. “Firefighters are using a main jet and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.”
