Footballing memorabilia fetches £5k at full-time

HUGE COLLECTION WENT UNDER THE HAMMER IN TIMED AUCTION
A HUGE collection of football memorabilia, including tens of thousands of programmes, sold for £5,000 at an auction in Fradley Park.
The collection was accumulated by a late football fan from Dordon, North Warwickshire, who also supported Tamworth FC.
It went under the hammer in a special timed online auction run by Richard Winterton Auctioneers which closed at 9am on July 14.
His local football club was represented by an extensive archive of Tamworth FC programmes as the team played in the lower leagues from the 1960s to the 2010s.
