Best yet from the Moatmen as they put five on Dudley

GRESLEY Rovers hit five in their best preseason friendly performance to date, beating Dudley Town 5-1 at the Moat on Tuesday night.
-
Rovers started on the front foot, pressing Dudley back, with Alby Lansdowne and Dylan Hunniford going close, the latter forcing a good save from the visiting keeper.
After eight minutes, they had the ball in the net with a header from Jenson Cooper but a linesman's flag cut short the celebrations.
Liam Kavanagh went close, firing just over, but he did not have to wait long to open his account.
In the 15th minute, the ball came over from the left and found Kavanagh on the edge of the penalty area to smash the ball into the net.
After Dudley had their first chance, a header that went wide, Fin Barker was unlucky to see a dipping shot crash against the post and fly away from goal.
But Rovers went two up when Kavanagh hit a superb free kick which beat the keeper and flew into the top corner.
