Supporters' reason to be cheerful if last weekend's display becomes the norm

It felt like a significant afternoon at Bloomfield Road last Saturday as Blackpool offered a hint of what could come in future.
-
The 3-1 victory over Cardiff City was one of the Seasiders’ best performances for a long time - and the atmosphere in the stadium reflected that.
Both sides had their own first-half opportunities to break the deadlock and Pool were grateful to Bailey Peacock-Farrell for ensuring it wasn’t the Bluebirds who edged their way in front.
After the break, Blackpool just hit their stride. Both Ashley Fletcher and Tom Bloxham looked sharp up front and were relentless in their efforts to get on the scoresheet.
Previously, 1-0 hadn't looked like a comfortable scoreline for the Seasiders but, having taken the lead quickly after the restart, they looked in full control.
