OMEGA embarks on the next chapter of its lunar chronography with the Speedmaster Dark and Grey Side of the Moon.

In the pantheon of horological achievements, the OMEGA Speedmaster is a watch that epitomises the heartbeat of space exploration, serving as the certified timepiece of the Moon missions.

Its origin, ironically, was the adrenaline-fuelled world of competitive motor racing, yet its destiny lay among the stars. That pioneering zeal reached its apogee in 1968 with Apollo 8 — command module pilot Jim Lovell and his crew vanished from terrestrial radio contact, entering the pitch darkness of the Moon's unseen far side with the OMEGA Speedmaster as their trusted companion in humanity's most audacious chain of courage.

OMEGA is commemorating the legacy of the Speedmaster by reenvisioning the Dark and Grey Side of the Moon collection, since the line’s original debut 12 years ago, marking its space-inspired design with a leap forward through advanced ceramic engineering and precision finishing. “The Dark Side of the Moon collection embodies OMEGA’s pioneering spirit that has guided us to the Moon.
