Q Ken, why did you want to make PopMaster TV?
A PopMaster goes back 25 years to when I got together with my friend Phil Swern – an expert in pop music – to make a music quiz in 1998 [for the radio]. We always said it would be nice to do a TV version, but, to be honest, we didn’t get a lot of interest! Then C4 got in touch. It’s all worked out rather well!
