Ferrari has applied its motorsport hybrid know-how to its road-going hybrid hypercar to create the new 1016bhp SF90 XX
-
WITH HYPERCAR POWER, A supercar price tag and Ferrari's first-ever plug-in hybrid powertrain, the SF90 Stradale certainly made a statement upon its launch. However, even when equipped with the Assetto Fiorano package, it has fallen short of expectations, upstaged by the cheaper, less powerful, yet more engaging and more capable 296 hybrid. The new SF90 XX hopes to restore the range hierarchy.
While it has the XX designation of Ferrari's most extreme track models, the newcomer is road-legal. Numbers will be strictly limited, with just 799 SF90 XX Stradale coupes and 599 Spiders being built, priced from 770,000 euros (c£660,000) and 850,000 euros (c£730,000) respectively. Unsurprisingly, each and every one has already been accounted for.
Revealed at Fiorano, in the building that's home to the development of everything from the marque's Challenge racers to its Le Manswinning 499P, the SF90 XX bridges the gap between the likes of the 812 Competizione and the track-only XX cars. It is the first of its kind: a Ferrari road car with extreme track focus. Turn the page for all the details...
