Lori Loughlin- Her Private Hell
Us Weekly
|November 18, 2019
Friends hope the actress will take a plea, but she’s sticking by husband Mossimo Giannulli, who wants his day in court. Us reveals the evidence that could set her free
-
Things have gone from bad to worse for Lori Loughlin. The woman is once known for her role as Aunt Becky on Full House — but whose name is now synonymous with the biggest college-admissions scam in history — has remained steadfast in her innocence. While codefendant Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty to fraud — and served just 11 days of a 14-day sentence — Loughlin, 55, and husband Mossimo Giannulli, 56, dug in their heels, resulting in additional charges of bribery that could mean 60 years in prison for each. (They’ll be arraigned on the new charges Nov. 20.)
“Mossimo still wants to go to trial,” a source tells Us about the fashion designer, “but Lori’s friends and family are aggressively counseling her to take a plea.”
