Speedy Justice constitutes an accelerated system of justice. The term implies that proceedings relating to Justice are slow in general. But what would the citizens of the world think of legal regimes if justice was labeled, indeed more descriptively, as Slow Justice? In the world, as we know it, the law has become an effective development tool that helps organize and manage the societies we live in. If a dispute arises between individuals or companies, there is a recourse to resolve the conflict: the legal authorities of the state. The problem occurs when this body is not performing its job efficiently, or at least not well enough. In this case, we are all left with no adequate protection. Most legal regimes today undertake lengthy processes to solve cases. It may be unfair to criticize this aspect of such bodies insofar as the lengthy process ensures a fair decision, but in some regard, the time courts take to pronounce a judgment can have a detrimental effect on the parties: additional costs, delay in serving the fine or sentence.
