THE LIVES of hundreds of thousands of families across Wales “continue to be blighted by poverty’, a new report states.

YouGov on behalf of the Bevan Foundation has revealed families are continuing to struggle to make ends meet, with almost one in eight (12%) sometimes, often or always struggling to afford the essentials.
It goes on to say poverty is “endemic and grinding in Wales’
It all makes for grim reading but also should come as no surprise, it's been a problem for decades and clearly there are no signs on the horizon of things improving for families.
There is little consolation to those struggling week to week to put food on the table and shoulder the burden of household costs and bills.
