July 4 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis

RACE 1 (2,000M) A tough opening race.

(2) GLOBAL SCENE is battling to get out of the maiden ranks but was not disgraced last time and could do even better this time around.

(3) BATTLE OF BRITAIN makes her local debut and could improve trying the Polytrack.

(9) CELTIQUE is improving and has a winning chance.

(7) CHEAP THRILLS has improved of late and is another to consider.

RACE 2 (1,300M) (7) ALEX MILLER makes his local debut after a change of trainers. He tries the Polytrack for the first time but does look the one to be with.

(1) AMERICAN MATADOR disappointed last time but was in good form before that and should go very close to winning.

(2) GLOBAL DRUMBEAT is in good form and can contest the finish again.

(3) AMERICAN PITBULL has a place chance on best form.

RACE 3 (1,300M) (2) BEACH QUEEN has run in a better field than this. She returns to a surface on which she has run well and does look the one to beat.

(3) AMANATTO makes her local debut after a change of trainers. She can improve trying the Polytrack.

(5) DANCING IN WINTER and (4) RUBY CLAIRE are both in good form but are struggling to get a first win.
