Brand's second all-electric SUV is the most powerful production Porsche ever
-
Porsche has launched the all-new Cayenne Electric, the first fully electric version of its flagship SUV and the most powerful production model the brand has ever built.
The new Cayenne Electric expands Porsche's all-electric lineup, complementing the Taycan and Macan models.
The existing combustion engine and plugin hybrid models of the Cayenne will continue to be offered alongside the new Cayenne Electric, allowing customers to choose the powertrain that works best for them.
Upon launch, the all-electric Cayenne family is initially composed of two models: the Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Turbo Electric, both equipped with two electric motors and all-wheel drive systems.
The new Cayenne Turbo Electric produces 1,156 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach 260 km/h. The standard model makes 442 hp and 835 Nm of torque, and can reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.8 seconds.
