House super majority to Zaldy: Come home

Four major power blocs under the super majority coalition in the House of Representatives have called on resigned lawmaker Zaldy Co to return to the country and make his accusations against President Marcos and former speaker Martin Romualdez formal and official.

In separate manifestos, Marcos’ Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), the National Unity Party (NUP), Nationalist People’s Coalition and the Nacionalista Party advised the former Ako Bicol congressman to be man enough to file the charges.

“Mr. Co must come home. It is important to emphasize a basic legal principle: jurisdiction cannot be exercised over someone who refuses to appear,” House Deputy Speaker and South Cotabato 2nd district Rep. Ferdinand Hernandez, who belongs to Marcos’ PFP, said.
