ISRO to share rocket tech with private sector

FOLLOWING the successful launch of the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-08) by the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV-D3) on Friday, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is now ready to transfer the SSLV technology to the private sector for commercial production.
Speaking to reporters after the launch, ISRO Chairman S Somanath said, "We can now declare that the process of SSLV development is complete. We are in the process of transferring the technology to Indian industries."
