Farmer couple in dire straits as their entire maize crop was poisoned

A farmer couple had to remove and destroy their maize crop after some miscreants sprayed poison on their crop in their field.
The incident happened near Lakkundi at farmer Prakash's field. Prakash had sowed maize crop in his two and a half acres of land and was expecting a good harvest in the next few days. He had obtained a loan of lakhs of rupees and is now suffering huge losses. Villagers said that it was difficult to witness the couple removing crops with tears in their eyes.
