The T Nagar head post office has filed a complaint with the Greater Chennai Police (GCP) alleging misappropriation of ₹25 lakh using forged documents showing the purchase of stationery and furniture for sub post-offices under its jurisdiction.

Taking cognisance of the complaint, the Pondy Bazaar police registered a case and began investigation on Tuesday.
