The first part of Parliament's budget session will begin on January 31 and continue until February 13, with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman set to present her eighth consecutive Union Budget on February 1.

As per tradition, the session will start with an address by President Droupadi Murmu to a joint sitting of both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha on January 31. This will be followed by the tabling of the Economic Survey and budget on February 1.

According to a government notification released on Friday, the second part of the session will resume from March 10 and run until April 28, after which a brief recess will occur before the final part of the budget session, scheduled from April 1-4.
