Slow moover Willow goes on late-night wander

A RESIDENT cow had a nighttime wander around her farm yard after escaping from her pen.

Willow has been a huge part of Ouseburn Farm in Ouseburn, Newcastle, since she was born 10 years ago.
Farm manager Katie Bates got the shock of her life when she was notified about movement at the farm at 3.30am on Monday.
She viewed CCTV footage and discovered the big black cow roaming around the yard.
‘The 36-year-old, who lives in Byker, Newcastle, said the latch on her pen must have came loose during the night.
She said: “I got a notification at half three in the morning that she was out and about. It woke me up.
“I couldn’t work out what it was at first.
