A DEVON paramedic says he feels 'very humbled' to have survived cancer and been 'on the other side of things! Christopher Dunkin, who lives in Ivybridge, is a paramedic with the South Western Ambulance Service. The 24-year-old was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma a type of skin cancer - on his arm a year ago. He has since had surgery to remove the cancer.
Mr Dunkin said: "I'm a lot more aware now of what people have to go through. It's given me more of an understanding having gone through the other side of things so I feel very humbled."
