Already without the long-term injured trio of James Bolton, Conor Grant and Mickel Miller, the Pilgrims will have to take on table-topping Ipswich minus midfielder Finn Azaz and defender Brendan Galloway.
Azaz has received a first call-up to the Republic of Ireland under-21s squad to play in their two-legged UEFA European Championship playoff against Israel.
Galloway, meanwhile, was sent-off for a second bookable offence deep into stoppage time as 10-man Argyle conceded a last-gasp goal to draw 2-2 away to Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
