A DISCOVERY of wartime memorabilia has prompted Plymouth's largest social housing association to turn to the public for help.
Staff at Plymouth Community Homes were amazed to discover boxes of historic military memorabilia during a property clearance at a home in North Prospect.
After a resident sadly passed away, attempts to find a next of kin to return the precious items to were unsuccessful.
The discovery contains medals of service from the Second World War, army clothing, photos and documents detailing time spent serving in the armed forces overseas over several decades.
