Murder trial is told of biker's serious injuries

THE jury in the trial of three men accused of the murder of a 59-year-old grandfather heard from a pathologist who found a shocking number of serious injuries after the biker was dragged nearly a kilometre under a van along the A38 in Plymouth.

The trial of Benjamin Parry, Thomas Pawley and Chad Brading for the murder of David Crawford, of Mallet Road, Ivybridge, has seen the jury repeatedly watch dashcam footage of the moments before and after the Ford Transit van driven by Parry struck the rear of Mr Crawford's Kawasaki motorcycle on the A38 on-slip at the St Budeaux interchange on May 12 this year.

The footage also captured the moment when Mr Crawford struck the bonnet of the van before both he and his bike went under the large vehicle.
