ENJOY A DAY OUT IN SALTASH AT HERITAGE PROPERTIES
CLARE AINSWORTH
Hop on a free ferry to town's attractions

TWO fascinating attractions will be reopening to curious visitors this weekend – and visitors from Plymouth have the chance to hop on a free ferry to see them.

Elliott’s Store and Mary Newman’s Cottage in Saltash will give visitors a glimpse into the past.

The Tamar Protection Society will be opening the two heritage properties for the 2024 season this Easter weekend, on Saturday, March 30.

It’s the same day that free ferries will be operating between Saltash and the Royal William Yard and Saltash Passage, giving people the chance for a great bargain day out.

Elliott’s Store will be open until 2pm and Mary Newman’s Cottage between noon and 4pm.
