Good news for school after recent inspection

A PRIMARY school in Stonehouse is celebrating a 'good' Ofsted rating following a recent inspection.

St Peter's CofE Primary School, which previously held a 'requires improvement' rating since 2016, was praised by thw education watchdog in its first inspection since the school joined St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust in 2021, with new leadership at the helm.

The Rendle Street school, which has 122 pupils, was rated 'good' in every single category.

The report stated that "the school sits at the heart of the locality" and praised staff for their "astute awareness of the needs of the local community"
