Festival set to promote better breast health

PLYMOUTH is to hold its first ever Breast Fest thanks to the determination of a city nurse.

There will be a day of live music, dancing and other festival fun while raising money and awareness for the city's breast cancer charity The Primrose Foundation.

It's the brain child of Kayleigh Davenport, a breast screening nurse who works at the Primrose Unit at Derriford Hospital. Kayleigh said she was organising the festival to build awareness of breast health and the importance of breast screening while also raising money to support the work of The Primrose Foundation.
