ORGANISERS of the Plymouth Urban Tree Festival said the event has got off to a great start, with further events taking place this week up to and including Sunday.
The festival is a nine-day series of events which began on Saturday and are designed to bring people together and celebrate the city's trees.
The itinerary includes guided tree walks, children's events, competitions and workshops. Events are being held all over the city, some by individuals and some in collaboration with other Plymouth organisations.
