SURVIVAL MEANS GALLOWAY AND MILLER COULD REMAIN
CHRIS ERRINGTON
CHANCE OF STAYING

DIRECTOR of football Neil Dewsnip believes Plymouth Argyle retaining their Champion-ship status will improve the chances of Brendan Galloway and Mickel Miller deciding to stay at Home Park.

The pair are out of contract this summer as it stands and negotiations have already taken place about new deals for both of them, involving the players, their agents and the club.

One player who does seem set to leave Home Park this summer, though, is Callum Burton, who was the third-choice goalkeeper behind Michael Cooper and Conor Hazard for much of this season.

Burton played only twice during the 2023/24 campaign, in the Carabao Cup ties at home to Leyton Orient and Crystal Palace, and his current deal at Argyle will run out at the end of June.

The Pilgrims are expected to their end-of-season retained list within the next day or so, with Galloway and Miller included under the 'out-of-contract offered new contract' category.

Dewsnip briefly gave an indication about the futures of Galloway and Miller after the season-ending 1-0 victory over Hull City at Home Park on Saturday, which ensured Argyle's Championship survival.
