A PLYMOUTH-based champagne company is celebrating after being crowned Champagne and Sparkling Specialist Retailer of the Year.
Sip Champagnes has been given the award by a leading wine media brand, Decanter, just two years after the company was founded.
Daniel Blatchford, 38, who attended Hele’s School in Plymouth, launched Sip Champagnes with his business partner, Peter Crawford, in 2020. Just two years later, the company has been given a national accolade for its ‘laserlike focus on cutting edge wines from the region.’
