THE Birmingham 2022 Queen's Baton Relay made its way through Plymouth yesterday morning, crossing Plymouth Sound with a flotilla of vessels as part of a 25-day journey across the country.
Having started the day in Cornwall, Plymouth's world champion swimmer Ben Proud was pictured with the Baton at the Eden Project, receiving it from surfer Ollie Turrell, from Hayle, who carried it down England's fastest zipwire over the top of the Biomes to mark the start of its tour of England.
