The Palace did not mince words when it fired back at Vice President Sara Duterte's tirades, telling her that “when emotions are high, intelligence is low”.

In a briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro responded to Duterte's remarks after she called the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. idiotic. Castro said that Duterte appears to be too emotional.
"When emotions are high intelligence is low. Never speak out of anger," Castro advised Duterte.
Duterte recently went on an alleged personal trip to Australia. The Palace has criticized Duterte's trips to Australia and other countries, saying that she was on holiday.
