Mom from Liloan is Mrs. Cebu Philippines 2025

Nika Linz Harris, 31, was with her parents and a close friend when her house in Barangay Yati, Liloan, was flooded during the onslaught of Typhoon Tino. They were able to retreat to the second floor, waiting for the water to recede so they could safely go down the stairs.

Her experience with Tino is likely why her response during the final Q&A at the Mrs. Cebu Philippines 2025 finals on Thursday, November 27 resonated deeply with the audience.

Asked to deliver a message of courage and hope to fellow Cebuanas amid recent calamities, she said, “To the women of Cebu, remember, no storm can wash away our strength and no earthquake can shake our faith. We are the heart of the community: strong, compassionate, and resilient. Let's continue to rise together, rebuild with love, and inspire hope in every single one of us.”

Harris was crowned Mrs. Cebu Philippines 2025, succeeding last year's titleholder, Cherie Mae Ocampo. This is her first time joining a pageant, inspired by how Mrs. Cebu highlights personal advocacies, something she witnessed firsthand as an audience in previous years.
