The BMC’s prestigious project Mumbai Beautification Programme MBP) is yet to take off. After the Shinde-Fadnavis government came into power in the state, BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal had declared the Mumbai Beautification Programme MBP). The Commissioner allocated Rs1750 cr for the project and directed his officers to complete at least 50% of the work by December 16 and the remaining 50% before March 2023.
