Congress MP seeks discussion in LS on sexual harassment case involving Odisha student

Congress MP Saptagiri Ulaka on Monday gave a notice in the Lok Sabha seeking suspension of business to demand a discussion on the case of sexual harassment, blackmail, and intimidation of a first-year BEd Scheduled Caste student from Odisha.

The student is studying at the National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, a Central University under the Ministry of Education.
The 6th Session of the 18th Lok Sabha and the 269th Session of the Rajya Sabha commenced on December 1 (Monday), marking the beginning of the Winter Session of Parliament. The session will conclude on December 19.
