The coaching staff may need protection, too with in-form Newcastle on the warpath - on the pitch and in the dugout - even minus Eddie Howe.

Howe was taken to hospital on Friday night and misses Newcastle's clash with United.

The Magpies say their boss has felt unwell ‘for a number of days’ and as of yesterday afternoon was being kept in hospital for further tests.

Howe would have been more restrained in the technical area, but trusty sidekick Tindall can be guaranteed to be in match mode.
