CHAA presents more than $10,000 donation to Camden High Football & Whitman Park Basketball Teams

Just days before the Christmas holiday, the Camden Health & Athletic Association (CHAA) delivered plenty of smiles as it presented a grant totaling more than $10,000 to support two local youth sports programs during a brief check presentation ceremony in Camden on Monday, December 22, 2025.

The funding includes a $7,700 grant to the Camden High School Football Team and $3,100 to the Whitman Park Basketball Team, also known as the Camden Aces.
The Camden High School Football Team, which captured its first state championship this past season, will use its portion of the funding to offset preseason travel expenses that played a key role in the team's preparation and success. The Whitman Park Basketball Team, an eighth-grade program serving youth in the community, will use the funds to purchase new uniforms for the upcoming season.
