A GIRL'S pet rabbit died when an arsonist deliberately set fire to her home.

Nottingham Crown Court was told how the dog that lived at the address was able to escape but the rabbit perished when Justin Davis started the blaze in the kitchen with lighter fluid.
The girl and her mother had already left in fear of the drunken 31-year-old. But the mum needed hospital treatment for smoke inhalation when she tried to get into the burning home.
