A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a gun was blasted at a chippy.
Police descended on Minton Street in Oldham at around 5.30pm on Thursday after reports of a shooting.
A window at the front of the Glodwick Chippy was smashed while another damaged windowpane was removed and left on display outside the premises.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said that after investigations, it is believed this was caused by a firearm.
No one was injured.
