The Great Mancunian Ball will be held in aid of St Ann's Hospice's Build it Together campaign and will feature a host of big names from the world of showbiz and sport.
Taking place at Aviva Studios, the home of Factory International, in the city centre on November 28, the event will feature live music and a special stage version of Gary's YouTube sensation The Overlap.
The former United player will be joined on stage during The Overlap live session by football legends Roy Keane, Jill Scott, Jamie Carragher and Ian Wright.
There will also be a dinner, as well as live entertainment from internationally renowned Swan Band, who also performed at Gary and Emma's wedding.
Gary said: "As soon as we heard about the Build it Together campaign we wanted to do everything we could to support St Ann's Hospice and their fundraising.
"Being able to bring The Overlap to the event is going to be brilliant and I can't wait to get Jamie, Ian, Jill and Roy on stage for this incredible cause."
