AN Irishman has been arrested after the discovery of body parts inside a suitcase in Spain.
The 51-year-old was held along with a Ukrainian in connection with the gruesome find in Barcelona.
The unnamed Irishman was remanded in custody on suspicion of homicide. A second man, who is 31, was released on bail.
Police said the victim was German but are still awaiting the results of DNA tests before they can be certain of his identity.
They are still unclear how he died.
He is understood to have been renting rooms to the two men held by police.
